Green Lantern Pizza was born from a simple belief: great pizza starts with great ingredients. Back when our founders first fired up the oven on Telegraph Road, their mission was crystal clear — deliver handcrafted pies that tasted like home, every single time.

From a single oven on Telegraph Road to a cornerstone of the Southfield community — here's our journey.

1998

The First Slice

Green Lantern Pizza opens its doors at 29127 Telegraph Rd, Southfield. Founders start with a four-item menu and a single wood-fired oven, serving the neighborhood one pie at a time.

2003

Menu Expansion

Customer demand drives us to expand from 4 pizzas to over 20 signature recipes. We introduce our now-legendary house-made garlic sauce and the famous Detroit-style deep dish.

2009

Community Recognition

Green Lantern Pizza is voted Best Pizza in Oakland County for the first time. We launch our first school fundraising program, partnering with 12 local Southfield schools.

2015

Online Ordering Launch

We go digital, launching our online ordering platform and expanding delivery coverage across Southfield, Lathrup Village, and Birmingham. Orders double within the first year.

2020

Resilience & Reinvention

During challenging times, we pivoted to contactless delivery and curbside pickup, served thousands of free meals to frontline workers, and emerged stronger than ever with record delivery numbers.

Sandra keeps every shift running like clockwork. Her warmth, precision, and dedication to exceptional customer experience have made her the heart of daily operations since 2011.

Delivery & Logistics Lead

James oversees our entire delivery operation, ensuring every order arrives hot and on time. His route optimization and driver training programs have reduced average delivery time by 30%.
